Supportive Tones Help the Livestock Contracts Close Higher Friday Afternoon
The cattle complex endured some significant pressure earlier in the week,
but thankfully by Friday's end both the live cattle and feeder cattle markets
regained footing and closed mostly higher.

GENERAL COMMENTS:
Friday ended up being a supportive day for the livestock complex as all
three of the markets closed mostly higher. A few clean-up sales were noted in
the South at $190, which is steady with the rest of the week's trade. December
corn is up 3 3/4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is down $4.20. The
Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 288.73 points.
